BIGCAT (1) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten a nose, over this trip at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SPITZBERG (5) returned last time with a solid third at Rockhampton over 5¼f. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. COPPABELLA ROAD (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Steven Royes stable. Finished off last campaign with a sixth at Muswellbrook five months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Definite winning chance. OBLIGATED (4) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 6 lengths when fifth over 5½f at this track. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
