TERMINUS (11) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and led into the straight but faded right out of it, finishing eighth over 6½f at this track. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. GROWL (4) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 4f at Thangool after he got a long way back. Cherry-ripe now and is a key runner. THE BLONDE GODDESS (12) ran fourth at her latest appearance over 6½f at Rockhampton, clocking in 6 lengths from the winner. Sure to be competitive. CHASETON (7) held on well to finish third last time out over 6f at Rockhampton after leading for much of the way. Strong top-three prospect.
