OUTBACK BANDIT (2) scored two starts ago at this track then struggled against stiffer opposition last time when 11th over 6f at Townsville, beaten 9 lengths. Ideally placed to return to form. ACEDROD (1) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Rockhampton. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 5½f at Rockhampton, beaten 5.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to bounce back. KOBAYASTAR (3) was a winner in a at Townsville then was competitive last time when fourth over 6f at Townsville, beaten only 2 lengths. One of the contenders again. SIMPLY TINA (4) lines up for the first time since April 9. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5¼f at Rockhampton. One to consider.
