THE EIGHTH I AM (7) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 6f at this track. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CUMIN SPINNER (14) finished second over 6½f at Rockhampton in a then missed the frame last time out over 5½f at Rockhampton. Sits handy in the run. Nicely placed to open her account. BOLD ROUGE (13) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a long neck away in third over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. JUKE BOX JIMMY (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Rockhampton, beaten 10 lengths into fifth. No surprise to see him in contention.
