COLT FICTION (6) has been a regular in the winners' stall of late including last start in dominant fashion over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MR CLUTCH (4) is fresh from a lay-off of ten weeks and did hit the frame when last resuming at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) over 4½f. In a different yard now. Sure to be primed for this and a bold showing is anticipated. FOOLISH STEVE (7) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 7f in Listed grade at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Has the class to take care of this field. STOMPING HOTROD (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to break the run of outs.
