CHARCO (2) turned in an eye-catching run over 5f at this track (Dirt) last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Generally goes well here. Likely to feature. PRADO'S PRIORITY (1) is back after a break of four months. Looking to emulate his win at Delta Downs at the beginning of last prep. Has recorded four wins when when resuming from a break. Rates highly and should take some beating. RISKTAKER (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Evangeline Downs, beaten 6 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CARLOS PUNCH (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
