MID WEST FUN (3) ran a much better race at her second outing last start to finish second over 6½f at this track after being in contention on the turn. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to take this out. CAROLINA JACY (2) was well in commission last start over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) when fifth, beaten 21 lengths. Well-placed to make amends. LONG SHOT LOUISE (4) finished 2.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at this track two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Leading hope. MY IDEA (5) improved last start to finish third over 5f at this track. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
