STIFF DRINK (7) finished second when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m1/4f at this track. Sure to prove tough to beat. READY SHOES (2) was safely held in tougher company two runs back then appreciated the drop in grade last time and scored over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Should measure up again. DUDE DROP KID (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt), finishing third and beaten 0.6 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CHIEF ALPHA (3) returns from a lay-off of 11 weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished sixth at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) over 1m1/2f when when resuming last time in work.
