SOUTHERN SLANG (3) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when sixth, beaten 5 lengths, over this journey at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to feature in the finish. DON'T HIT ME BASH (5) got the prize two runs ago at Pleasanton. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 6f at this track, beaten 12 lengths. Has the talent to produce another win. CAPITAL OUTLAY (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when ninth in a 5f contest at Del Mar three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. MIDNIGHT LOVE (7) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 5½f at Del Mar after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
