SMILING FOR NANA (2) made progress last start to finish third over 5½f at Los Alamitos after being prominent at the corner. Adrian Escobedo gets the best out of this three-year-old filly. Tackling a more suitable race so she is a major player. FUNKY GREY (6) was sent out favourite but could only finish fourth over 4f124yards at this track last time. Prior to that had been racing well, collecting two minor placings on end. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best form puts her right in this. MISS JOANNIE (5) is racing well and has registered five minor placings in a row, last time out finishing second over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) after being prominent from the outset. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. GYPSY V BAR (4) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 4f124yards. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
