LETTHELIQUORTALK (3) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second when resuming last start over 5½f at Del Mar (Dirt). Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. THE BIG CHEESEOLA (1) used the low draw last time and bounced straight to the lead, turning in front before fading to finish fifth over 6f at Del Mar (Dirt). Commendable record at this trip with a win and four minor placings and looks a top chance. BILLY'S BET (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 6f at Del Mar, beaten 7 lengths into ninth. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. POP D'ORO (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Del Mar, beaten 2.25 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to find some form.
