LA CHIQUIS (4) is a distance specialist who did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at Los Alamitos last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Los Alamitos the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MODERA (2) finished out of the money two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 4 lengths when fourth in a 4½f contest at this track two weeks ago. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. STORM D'ORO (1) finished fifth two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by half a length after being prominent at the corner over 2½f at this track (Dirt). Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. MAYCEE JO (5) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt), beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to go a couple better.
