VINTAGE DIESEL (3) ran below expectations last time at Launceston, finishing ninth and beaten 11 lengths starting at 6/1. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. PINANDI (8) finished 1.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Best form puts her right in this. CLIFTON DANSEUR (1) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 37 lengths when sixth in a 2m4f contest at Ararat seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to take care of this field. BULBUK (4) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start lost rider over 1m3f at Hobart. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
