GINGERSON (6) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Hobart over 7f, beaten half a length. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Should enjoy the significant drop in grade. Will be hard to stop. STEEL CONNECTION (8) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5½f at Hobart. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GEE GEE CAN WIN (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at Devonport Synthetic over 6¾f. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Sure to be competitive. MISS PEBBLES (7) was in the money two starts back at Launceston but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Launceston over 1m. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
