VF WHEELY COLD (4) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1f130yards at Fair Meadows, beaten only one length after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BARBARO (11) is a four-start maiden who was close to a win before a three-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a minor placing at Ruidoso Downs (Dirt). Can pick up where he left off. Has ability and can hit the ground running this campaign. DUKE OF WESTMINSTER (12) continues to race well this time in work, the latest effort a solid second over 1f80yards at Gillespie County Fairground. Should be ready to show his best now so he shapes as one to consider. BOGARTS HOPE (3) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1f31yards at Retama Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.
