FLYING FIRST CLASS (9) finished third last time over 5½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) to make it three minor placings from six career runs. Has a good record at this distance with three top-three results from five starts. Great chance to break through. BACLIFF (7) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) in a tougher race. Promising type with improvement to come so another top-three finish is on the cards. GOD KNOWS WHY (8) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fifth over 5½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths. Cannot be dismissed.
