DEVITO (6) was never really in the hunt last time, drifting back early and winding up 9 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Looks well placed this line-up and deserves another chance. CONNOR TALKSTRASH (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Sam Houston Park, beaten 5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. UPTOWN TWOUNDERPAR (5) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished seventh after being in contention on the corner at his last appearance over 6f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) on April 5. Expected to feature in the finish this time. WILLIE'S POSSE (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6f at Sam Houston Park. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
