DARK THINKER (8) was having her first run for the Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald stable last start when she made steady ground to run into second over 1m at Sunshine Coast at the first run back from a lay-off. Can go one better. MAJESTIC ANGEL (10) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 1m3f at Gold Coast. Will drift back but is going to be hard to hold out. AMALGAMATION (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 1m3f at Gold Coast when he worked home well. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. IBERIAN RULER (5) was unwanted in betting when resuming last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 1.5 lengths into third over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Minor claims.
