MANIC LIGHT (7) opened this campaign last start with a third, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 5f at Ballina. Best figures stack-up nicely. ALF'S MAGIC (5) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start over 6f at Murwillumbah, beaten 1.4 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out. EAGLE HAWK STAR (2) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 5½f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0.8 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
