CAR RIDE (6) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 15 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). This offers him a great chance of breaking through. DOWSING ROD (1) is a 21-start maiden who could only manage to finish ninth at his latest appearance over 5½f at this track (Turf) after he gave away a big start. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. BEACH COWBOY (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 10 lengths when fifth in a 1m1/2f contest at Horseshoe Indianapolis six-and-a-half weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he is set to turn things around. LUCKY PRINCE (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
