ENSIGN EAGLE (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on June 30 finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic. One of the genuine hopes in the race. CELTIC ROSE (10) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten half a length, over 6f21yards at this track. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. Will give a great sight. MAKARSKA SUNSET (7) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2.75 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. HEART OF PARIS (5) finished 5 lengths away in seventh after being in contention on the turn at her last appearance over 7f21yards at this track on November 20. Solid top-three chance on her best figures.
