DIOS (11) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track with a win as public elect over 5½f at Hobart two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Looks well placed so expect another big run. NICCO THE GREEK (1) settled well back before finishing 4.5 lengths adrift in 12th over 5½f at Hobart last time. Sound record at this distance with three wins and five minor placings from 12 runs and is among the leading chances. FREAK ON A LEAD (3) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 7f32yards at Hobart. Has a good record here at this journey with two wins and a minor placing from four starts. Should be involved in the finish. GEE GEE ENUF SPEED (6) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
