EXPLOSIVE ROSIE (3) returned from a break last start with an all-the-way win over 5f190yards at Albury, getting home by 0.6 lengths. Has a formidable record at this journey with three wins and three placings from nine starts and looks a top chance. PANO'S PRIDE (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 5f at Cranbourne after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. MARILYN'S EDGE (16) faded right out of it last time over 5f at Sandown-Hillside after showing good early speed and leading for much of the way, eventually finishing sixth. Blinkers come off second up. Fitter and sure to be competitive. THUNDER PARK (17) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth. Well placed to turn things around.
