WORTHY ESSGEE (1) was far from disgraced when third last start after being prominent at the corner over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 2.5 lengths. That followed a win at Toowoomba the start prior. Has the class to find the winners' list. LES GIRLS (10) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Well placed and expected to feature. CONTESSA NILE (15) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 6f at Nanango. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. BOOMI'S BUDDY (2) went to the lead from the low draw last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing second over 6f at Casino. Well-placed and can feature in the finish.
