STEEL KING (8) showed good pace and went on to score by 2 lengths last time out over 6f at Gold Coast Poly. Should park just off the speed despite a difficult draw. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. SARSEN (7) was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance at Gold Coast Poly over 7f152yards nine weeks ago. One of the genuine hopes in the race. LITTLE SPARK (15) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by half a length over 4f76yards at Toowoomba. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Drawn well close to the inside and she is right in the mix again. EVERSTAR (4) registered his first win last start over 5½f at Ipswich, getting home by 1.2 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Harder this time but still one to consider.
