ROYAL ROSIE (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Bendigo but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 6 lengths over 1m at Terang after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SPORTS IDOL (1) started at 13/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 10 lengths at Kyneton over 1m1 1/4f. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. GOLWEN (4) performed above expectations last time over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, getting the prize by 0.8 lengths. Can feature in the finish again. ARCTIC PRINCESS (2) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 1m at Moe. Solid top-three prospects.
