VERONIQUE (3) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 4.5 lengths over 6f at this track. Has the talent to put the recent run behind her. MISS NEW YORK (11) saluted at the first run back from a lay-off last start over 7f at this track, scoring by a long neck. Has been given a let-up of five-and-a-half weeks since that outing. Will be better for that latest run and looks a big threat to the top selection. HANG OUT THE STARS (9) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing 11th and beaten 10 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
