ENGLISH MISTRESS (8) returns from a break of nine weeks. Was going well at the back end of last prep with placings at her last three starts, the latest at this course and distance. Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed three minor placings. Leading contender. JACK IN THE GREEN (6) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, at this track over 1m1 3/4f. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. MIDWAY (10) has recorded two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Continued the trend last start when runner-up over 1m1 3/4f at this track. Has the talent to find the winners' list. AMANCIO (1) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1m1 3/4f at this track. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
