RESTONICA (16) is racing well. Scored at Newcastle in a then finished second, beaten a neck, over 6½f at Warwick Farm at the latest appearance a month ago. Has a strong record at this distance with a win and four minor placings from five starts and is sure to play a big role. THE NOVELIST (2) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 5½f at Rosehill after he was in contention on the bend. Cherry-ripe now and is expected to do much better. ATMOSPHERIC ROCK (14) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when sixth over 6f at Rosehill two weeks ago. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. STARMAN (9) resumed two weeks ago over 6f at Rosehill and was only beaten 1.5 lengths into fifth. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
