VAIN INVADER (1) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Sapphire Coast. Not as effective last time out when third over 7f at Newcastle, beaten 4.5 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can rediscover winning form. OPEN SKY (6) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 1m at Nowra, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at Nowra at the previous outing. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to bounce back. TIGER TOWN (12) was in the money two starts back at Queanbeyan but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Canberra over 7f. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. EXTREME FREEDOM (3) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Tommy Berry gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Nicely placed to find some form.
