Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. AIR COMBAT (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1m at Newcastle, beaten 3 lengths into sixth. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. DRACO'S FIRE (2) did a good job last start to finish third at Scone over 7f, beaten 0.6 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Will find this a little tougher but should be competitive. SEACORE (14) could only manage to finish ninth, beaten 36 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle after he got a long way back in the run. Appeals as a top-four contender.
