HOT NOVA (11) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish eighth over 6f at this track. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. AMERICAN THIGHS (6) got off the mark over 6f at this track last start, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Natasha Faithfull was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Nicely placed to double the win tally. CELESTIAL FOX (3) finished seventh last start over 5½f at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Another bold showing is expected. BAD BOY BU (1) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish third, beaten only 0.8 lengths, over 5½f at this track. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the better hopes.
