RULING DAME (5) last appeared a week-and-a-half ago over 6½f at Northam when she finished ninth. This is her first run for the Peter Fernie stable. Nicely placed here and expected to go well. MIRRORSCHINO (8) has switched yards since finishing 12th six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m3 1/4f at Bunbury. Has ability and should be right in the finish. NOVATORIO (10) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a 0.6 lengths win over 5½f at this track. Among the chances again. SONIC RULER (14) produced another moderate effort last start when 9 lengths from the winner in 11th over 7f at Northam. No surprise to see her in contention.
