STRONG MARTINI (3) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at this track over 6f last time, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SHAPIN POWER (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 6½f at Gold Coast after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to find winning ways. GLOWLIGHT (2) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Sunshine Coast when she made late ground, beaten 6 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
