LIZZIE'S PRIDE (9) closed last prep with a fifth over 1m1 1/2f at Toowoomba on February 10 2024. Worth noting that she opened the last campaign with a minor placing at Toowoomba over 1m1/4f. Expected to come back with a bold performance. JORUM (12) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish fifth over 1m2 3/4f at Toowoomba in a disappointing performance. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is capable of running a bold race. DEEP FURY (2) finished half a length away in fourth last time out over 7½f at Warwick two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will find this a little tougher but is capable of featuring. QUICK SHOT (15) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 7f137yards at Lismore. Likely improver who should be in the mix.
