SIAN STAR (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5.5 lengths away in seventh over 1m at Doomben. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is perfectly placed to score. JOVITA (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6¾f at Warwick, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to take this out. POSEIDON RULER (7) finds it hard to win with four victories from 43 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m at Doomben, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has the talent to get the job done. TAMBOURINE MAN (5) had been performing well until racing below his best last time when fourth over 6¾f at this track. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Deserves respect on best figures.
