SECOND SUN (2) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a long neck away in second over 1m at Doomben after being in contention all the way. Wide draw and will need a good steer from Boris Thornton. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. WORTH AVENUE (7) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 7f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 3 lengths. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. METCALFE (5) broke his maiden last start over 1m1/2f at this track, scoring by half a length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Jag Guthmann-Chester was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. ZEPHYRZ ZOOM (11) produced a better run last start, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth over 1m1/4f at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
