BETATHANEVA (1) resumes from a lay-off of three months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Well placed and happy to have her on top. DENOTE (2) finished fifth over 1m at Kembla Grange at her most recent appearance on July 18. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. MISS REILLY (6) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing sixth at Doomben and beaten 2.5 lengths. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Well placed and is one of the contenders. MATERIALIST (5) is a genuine type with three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Continued the trend last start when third over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
