CHANCE WITH WOLVES (1) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being prominent at the bend over 1m at Sunshine Coast, an improvement on his 12th at Doomben the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BRIEF SOJOURN (20) showed good speed to lead over 1m3f at Sunshine Coast last start but faded right out of it to finish eighth. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove hard to hold out. EASTOWN (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found a forward position then knocked up in the straight to finish tenth over 1m1f at Gold Coast. Likely to feature. ZEPHYRZ ZOOM (16) turned in another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in ninth over 7f at Beaudesert. No surprise to see her in the mix.
