DAWYN'S CHOICE (5) missed the placings last time out over this distance at Warwick, beaten 2.5 lengths. Has a strong record this course, scoring at two of three starts. Sure to be there at the business end. JOEY D'OR (4) is back from a three-and-a-half months lay-off and he does run well when resuming, including a win over 5f at Orange at the start of last prep. Capable of playing a major role. STAR OF KINGS (1) lines up for the first time since May 30. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 4½f at Wellington. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
