LANTAU ISLAND (3) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing third and beaten a head over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Big chance based on that effort. CASH LANDING (2) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at this track. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. LET'SSHOWEM (9) ran above expectations and got up for third at a huge quote at her latest appearance at Doomben over 5½f. Won't find this assignment as tough. One to consider. TURN THE CORNER (5) settled back on debut last time out but wound up strongly in the run home to finish second over 6f at Doomben. Open to plenty of improvement.
