WYNETTE (5) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in third over 5½f at Doomben. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. TARIFA (9) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at Sunshine Coast a week-and-a-half ago. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves another chance. SILVER TAP (8) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 3 lengths into seventh over 6f at Sunshine Coast on August 4. One of the main contenders. Solid top-three chance. BLIND DESIRE (6) finished fifth when fresh from a break over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly, 2.75 lengths from the winner. Tackles a turf track for the first time. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be doing her best work late.
