This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. SATAY CHICKEN (11) finished 11th over 1m at Coonabarabran at his most recent appearance on October 27. Now under the care of new trainer Wayne Oakenfull. Has found a suitable race. WILD CHAP (1) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 1.3 lengths over 7f at Lismore. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. MYSTERY LAD (7) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 5f at Tamworth. Likely improver with strong prospects.
