BUCKLE UP (8) is a 13-start maiden who finished sixth at his most recent outing over 1m at this track (Dirt). Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. HITCHPIN (7) resumed last start over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish second, beaten 8 lengths. Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed four minor placings. Sure to run well. CHARMING VICTORY (6) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 7 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. GOVERNOR RON (1) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 11 lengths behind the winner in fifth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Will take a lot from that experience. Expected to do more.
