ANYWAYS ROXIE (6) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on November 24 over 5½f when she scored by 3 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EASTCOAST MISS (8) built on a nice second two starts back at Launceston with a win as public elect over 6f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Anthony Darmanin scored on her last time and retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form she is one of the key runners. Set Weights EET LUCIFER (1) settled well back and never threatened when tenth over 6f at Launceston last time out. Going up a level this time but he deserves another chance. PEROLA (3) resumed two-and-a-half weeks ago over 5½f at Launceston and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into sixth. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
