GEMS EAGLE (4) drifted back then made late ground to finish fourth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track. Big chance. SKY LAND (12) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time when she was always up in the leading division over 6f21yards at Launceston. Nicely placed to take this out. WANNABE ZIGGY (9) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a lay-off last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten half a length, over 6f at this track. Solid run last start and is among the chances again. OXIDIZE (11) finished 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 6f at this track, an improvement on her sixth on debut at this track the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
