FURNEAUX (5) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish third over 6f at this track. Has the gate speed to cross from out wide. David Pires who has three wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. LOVIN' BEV (2) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Sure to take running down. MAKE A DECISION (3) steps up in trip after scoring last time by half a length over 6f at this track on July 7. Down in the weights this time so he should run well. CREATIVE LICENCE (7) has been in good form, scoring three back at this track then placing twice in a row, most recently when third over 6f at this track. Well placed to figure prominently again.
