ASVA (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Second up record is sound. Likely improver with strong prospects. DAYAN STAR (2) has switched yards since scoring by 0.8 lengths at this track over 7¼f on June 23. Worth serious consideration. CAPITAL CHEVAL (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1m1/4f at Devonport Synthetic after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PEROLA (6) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a seventh, beaten 2 lengths, over 6f at this track. Backmarker who gets home hard. Can feature in the finish.
