BANCA TOM (2) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ESPUR (7) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 7 lengths back in eighth over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Sure to be prominent from the outset. AGNETE (4) turned in a good performance last time over 6f at this track, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in sixth after she gave away a big start. Scored at her only try at this trip. Expected to run well. DAYAN STAR (3) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.3 lengths adrift in third over 6f at this track when returning from a break. Among the main hopes.
