FIORENTE DE LEGEND (14) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of four months. Closed last campaign with a ninth over 1m2 1/2f in the LR Tasmanian Oaks at Launceston, beaten 37 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Expect a bold showing. MISTER MANIHI (1) raced on the speed last time but faded out of it when sixth over 6f at this track. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. AMAI ANGEL (6) is facing the starter for the first time. By Maurice and hails from the Rhys Richards stable. Worth watching for a betting push.
